When I was about to start the game I was thinking of making a shooter but I wanted something new.

I liked the graphics, but gameplay was just a matter of holding in the mouse button and running through the people.  :P

@Jaj
Thats pretty cool. He seems a bit retarded when he jumps though, only because he jumps so low. I thought it was fairly easy till those red balls mobbed me  :-[

Finally had a chance to try some of the entries.

I quite liked Darthlupi' s game, would make a great casual Flash game I think. It was a bit annoying to jump out if you were in a hole.

I liked Deadheat's the most though. It felt so easy to kill them; very fast fire and they die instantly. Felt very rewarding, with the cool particles too. Gameplay wasn' t original at all, but very good execution. Addicting.

JaJ' s was kinda cool. Mostly because of the style imo.

Brian's (hey Brian!), interesting, though my hand hurts now :P I didn' t think smashing one of the guys felt very rewarding (didn' t have sound on though, don't know if it had sounds), it should feel like you really smash someone over, maybe hold still for a few frames when you hit someone. (or have the screen shake, your ball bounce back, etc). Just felt a little weird.

EDIT: Tried again with sounds, works much better (should've done that in the first place...). Still I think there should be more visual feedback.

BlueBoyX' s looks very good, stylistic and so forth, but didn' t find it much fun, sorry.

@JaJ: Nice, although slightly bland. Definitely good for three hours, though.

@BlueBoyX: Nice graphics, weird gameplay. Mouse controlled sword swinging is really hard to get right...

@Paztor: Nice although a bit too simple, maybe?

@Kvalster: Damn that's some hot stuff. Gameplay is a bit boring but the first impression the game gives is quite amazing.

@im9today: Lovely sprites, weird gameplay. Spend some more time with it, maybe? Seems like it could turn into something awesome.

@darth: Reminds me of Kloonigames TIGSource entry for the b-game competition. Pretty fun and nice to look at.

@deadheat: Fun game. A bit too simplistic, but I really enjoyed the feeling of the engine.

@Radnom: The game made me feel ill. Seriously.

@2dcube: Nice, fun to play and I like the weapons.

@Jw: Awesome style, decent gameplay. You should refine your standard arcade gameplay for these platform shooters. If they were slightly more varied they'd be a lot more fun.

@Brian: That was really cool. Fun too. Like the rope physics.

@Shane: Awesome style like always. I liked it overall despite the lack of gameplay :)

@BP: Finish it  a retards best friend.

I had a dream last night that Tim W was on the private board posting and no one knew who activated him.

Any way, I will try to write up a little review on what this is and why we do it along with all the entries and then i'll send it to you or something. Tonight I hope. Maybe sooner.

Yeah, I was going to have first post after it but I forgot to say. When will you be running out of style ideas? This is just awesome, and how you always find a way to do things different, like displaying the score is pretty inspirational to me  =| :^) .
