this is hardcore theme: TRAGEDYAncient greeks were good at this, now it is our turn. You have 1 (one) hour to make a tragedic game. Now go and tell your tales of motherfuckers, betrayal, angry children and crazy heroes. Rules:-must be some sort of tragedy -must be made in around 1 hour -must mention the poppenkast -must be made by you DEADLINE:let's say sunday in 2 weeks: april 12?
good luck! I want a lot of entries.

E N T R YSAD MOON MISSIONI'm really happy with it for such a short time. spent about 75 minutes instead of 60, but still. it can be completed and all, and everything (even music, I know it sucks) is made by me. download
oh some help: the first item you buy allows you to wrap around the screen the second one allows you to jump again

A game in an hour? Holy crap, how? I could barely scrape one together in three. I guess I am slow.

Pretty much any game I would attempt to make in an hour would be tragic.

Aahahaha that is fucking genious jw! The powerups were satisfying to get and use, first it felt annoying to go back to the bottom, but when you got each one of those items, it felt really good to go up. Especially with double jump.
Ending made me laugh really : DD
Good game!

oh some help: the first item you buy allows you to wrap around the screen the second one allows you to jump again fun, but how do you buy? i have six coins, walk over to the little box, but nothing happens. what do you have to press? since this is a one hour compo, i will probably make three entries.

oh, the reason i thought it did nothing was that you money does not go down when you get it. you should change that.

Where is my wife? http://pietepiet.happysadness.net/games/wimw.rarI took way too long on this. Like, 2 hours or something. And it's not even fun or challenging Bah, whatever. I had fun making it. Controls are X for jump, arrow keys for walking, r for restart jw, sorry for ripping off your style quite a bit
